Ust-Orda has a museum and national cuisine center. The next large village on the way is Bayanday village with stores and cafeterias. After it Olkhon district begins and the road runs through the thick forest and comes out of it just a few kilometers in front of the shore of the Maloye More (Small Sea).
Irkutsk – Ulan-Ude
The wonderful way expects us when we are leaving Irkutsk and its suburbs. The road runs along the steep mountains covered with beautiful tall trees. After soon Baikal appears on the way with its incredible beauty. Approaching Baikal we leave behind Kultuk and then Slyudyanka.
Baikalsk is the next town on the way. It has splendid recreational places for skiing.
It is possible to stop and take pictures on the stage between Vydrino-Babushkin with high snow-covered mountain peaks on photos. The Snezhnaya river is the border between Irkutsk region and Buryatia. Along all the way local people sell berries, mushrooms picked in the forest and Baikal omul.
